What if we loved even those that we didn’t agree with. What if the church was a place of support and love for all the hurting, not only those who lived like we thought they should. What if we trusted God with working out the details of how someone lives their life. What if we didn’t judge but loved…… What if we prayed instead of speaking judgment about others.
I think the church must ask itself…how is what they have been doing working out? Does the Gospel we preach meet people where they really live and make a difference. Do people know us by the Love we have for one another or do we rely on what is printed on our bumper stickers. Do we pray for our leaders as God commands, or do we judge them, and act like we really know what is in their heart.
It appears that when you look at the problems of this world and What Christ actually taught, then the church is part of the problem, instead of part of the solution. God will not change the world, until He first changes the church. It begins with us.
I may not agree with you, but I want you to know, I love you and am committed to praying for you to realize the abundance of Life that Christ has purposed for you and everyone!
